Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what data Git Shipped collects through gitshipped.com, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.
01What we collect
Information you provide through the intake and any messages — such as your name, email, business details, and project requirements.
Files you upload (for example logos or brand assets) via your project status page.
Privacy-friendly, aggregate usage analytics about how the site is used (no cross-site tracking).
02How we use it
To respond to your enquiry, scope and deliver your project, communicate with you, and improve our services.
We do not sell your personal information.
03AI processing
Information you submit through the intake is processed by AI (the Claude API, provided by Anthropic) to generate a structured project brief and to assist with drafting responses.
04Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and handled by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
05Data storage & third parties
Your data (project details, messages, and uploaded files) is stored in cloud infrastructure provided by Supabase. The site is hosted on Netlify.
We also rely on: Anthropic (Claude API) for AI processing, Resend for transactional email, Stripe for payments, and Plausible for privacy-friendly analytics.
Each provider processes data only as needed to deliver their part of the service.
06Data retention
Project data is retained for up to two years after a project completes, after which it is deleted on request.
07Your rights
You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at any time.
08Cookies
We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our analytics (Plausible) is cookieless. The only cookie we set is a session cookie for our own admin sign-in — it isn't used for visitors browsing the site.
